Cette tude propose un aperu fascinant des pratiques intellectuelles et sociales des huguenots en France et au Refuge. / Jean Rou (1638-1711) was a Huguenot scholar, educator and civil servant. After imprisonment in the Bastille and exile in England, he was appointed in 1689 translator of the States-General of the United Provinces. This work offers fascinating insight into the intellectual and social practices of Huguenots in France and in the diaspora.
