Description

Leidinyje pristatoma Charkivo fotografijos mokykla – išskirtinė menininkų bendruomenė, vienijanti keturias Ukrainos kūrėjų kartas nuo XX a. 7 dešimtmečio iki mūsų dienų. Sovietinės cenzūros dešimtmečiais, neramiais Ukrainos nepriklausomybės siekio, revoliucijų laikais, užgriuvusios Rusijos karinės agresijos metais Charkivo fotografai nuosekliai plėtė fotografijos ribas ir pavertė ją galinga estetinės išraiškos ir socialinės kritikos priemone. Leidinį anglų kalba sudaro 6 tyrėjų tekstai, įvairiais aspektais nagrinėjantys Charkivo fotografiją, jos kontekstus, ir gausiai iliustruota judėjimo chronologija.
